Thanks for visiting my site – I’m so glad you’re here. This is the place to be if you’re interested in getting more of your writing done in the midst of your very busy life.
I want you to know that I follow Canada’s Anti-Spam Laws.
I promise to keep your email address and any other contact details you share with me private, and to not share them with anyone else.
If you’ve given me your email address by downloading resources from this site, or by otherwise submitting sign-up details for any of my products, programmes or services, then I assume I have your express consent to send you further information and resources, because you actively gave me your email so that I could send you useful information to help you in your writing life. You can ask me to delete any/all of your information at any time and I will do that lickety-split.
And you can ask to unsubscribe at any time by just clicking the unsubscribe button in the latest email I’ve sent.
This site is done in WordPress and uses Google Analytics so yes, I have Cookies. Sadly, not the chocolate chip kind, just the kind that show me if you found the site via Google or Instagram. I also use the Facebook Pixel.
If you find that super-annoying, here's a link to how you can get rid of all your Cookies. (If only that worked for the chocolate chip kind…)
A special note for European friends: I have a tiny writing business based in Canada. I'm not explicitly reaching out to find European customers, and I'm also actively excluding Europe in any/all of my marketing efforts. You're welcome to read any of the free resources you find on my site (i.e. blog posts), but I'd request that you not sign up for my email list or otherwise send me your email or any other personal data, including not signing up for products or services at this time. I'm just not equipped to serve European customers under the very stringent GDPR regulations right now. I will survey my email list semi-annually to ask for location and will remove any European-based addresses. Perhaps we'll meet in person and share an actual cookie sometime, but until then it will have to be au revoir and Auf Wiedersehen. So sad, eh? 🙁
I hope this all seems clear and sounds good. If you have any questions at any time, please don’t hesitate to contact me by email.
(Now I've got a really bad cookie craving. I'm thinking these, but with oatmeal.)
